Children's University
At Stoke by Nayland we are committed to building our children's cultural capital, so we are part of the Suffolk's Children's University. This means we celebrate what our children achieve and learn outside of school.
Children are encouraged to get a 'passport' and are then given stamps in recognition for completing extra-curricular activities such as sports clubs, music lessons, trips to museums and concerts. A Stoke by Nayland, the children can also gain stamps on their passport for completing home learning tasks. We also have a Children's University club that runs after school on a Wednesday that gives children opportunities to complete specific challenges set by the Children's University.
At the end of the year, the children's stamps are counted and the children graduate with an award for their efforts at a special ceremony.
