Hello and welcome to Oak Class!

Oak Class is our Key Stage 2 class.  Here children focus on developing their independent learning skills.

We are years 3,4,5,6 and our teachers are Mrs Conway and Mrs McGrath.  We also have Madam Davies for our French lessons and Mr Welham for music.  Our Teaching assistants are Mrs Locke and Miss Thorn.

In Key Stage 2 we sometimes split into year 3/4 and 5/6 for different lessons and activities.  For example the year 5/6 children get to go on the residential each year and year 3/4 get a local over night stay.  We enjoy active learning and use our online learning platform too.  We use Teams to support our learning and here we can share ideas with our teachers and each other.  

As Key stage 2 children we take on more responsibilities and we are able to apply for in school jobs such as librarians, sports leaders and digitial leads.  

During our time in Year 5/6 we also create Records of acheivement. We are proud of all of the learning we do both in school and out of school and we have high expectations of ourselves.
