Our School Day

This is an example of what a typical day looks like but there can be variations. 
7.30am - Early starters club 
8.50am - School gates open - you are welcome to come on to the playground with your child and wait for the bell to ring or you can leave your child as adults are on duty.
8.55am - The Bell is rung  - children line up in their class groups and are taken in by their teachers. 
9.00am - School Starts  - Children arriving after 9.10am  are considered absent and will receive an unauthorised absence mark unless the office have been contacted to make them aware of an issue. 
9.00am - Registration
9.05am - Collective Worship
- this is frequently led by the children and has a half termly theme
9.25am - First Lesson
10.25am - Playtime  All children go out together and are able to have healthy snacks on the playground - fruit is .also provided
10.40am - Second Lesson
12.00pm - Lunchtime -
 All the children eat in mixed age groups so that it creates a more family atmospher and the children are able to talk to a mix of other children
1.10pm - 3rd Lesson
2.15 - Afternoon Play KS1 and EYFS
2.30 - 4th Lesson
3.15 - Shared Story time
3.30 - End of the school day
3.30 - After School Clubs
4.30 - After School Clubs end
5.00 - Tea Birds Club Ends
 


A typical school week is 32.5 hours.
